Some of the Team at MediLexicon International Ltd.   



Christian Nordqvist, CEO

Co-founder of the company in June 2003, Christian has a love for the English Language - having spent many years as an English Language Teacher. An accomplished writer, he has had 80 books published, including "English for the Pharmaceutical Industry", "English for Shipping" and "English for Law". Christian moved to Mexico in 2005.

Alastair Hazell, COO

Co-founder of the company, Alastair has been working in the Internet industry since 1997. He has a technical background, having previously provided technical support for major UK computer software and hardware companies. For two years Alastair was Web Manager of one of the UK's leading Internet Service Providers, Cablenet, before moving on to start up MediLexicon. Alastair was the original developer of the MediLexicon International websites.

Peter Hill, Marketing Director

With success in developing licensing and franchise opportunities in Europe, Asia and South America Peter moved to a dot com start up in 1999 as Commercial Manager. Health Media Group Plc grew quickly achieving a prominent position supplying pharma companies with content for online and offline marketing activities. Peter moved to AstraZeneca's Global eBusiness Department as a Project Manager in 2003, concentrating on content-led marketing and IT infrastructure projects. Peter joined MediLexicon International in 2006 to develop the company's products and services, helping the company stay at the forefront of advertising and marketing services providers in the rapidly changing world of online advertising.

Catharine Paddock, PhD, Writer

Catharine has a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with Physics and a PhD in Organizational Psychology from the University of Manchester, UK. She has also trained as a counsellor, specialising in cognitive behavioural and brief therapy. During 10 years in the computer and electronics industry in Germany and the UK, she worked as a technical writer, translator, editor and trainer of technical writers before moving into senior positions in quality assurance and human resource management. In 1991 she became a business writer and coach, working with individuals and groups in small and large businesses on issues ranging from general management to leadership, interpersonal skills, and emotional health.  She also spent five years working with employee counselling organizations, running workshops, trauma debriefs and seeing clients in one to one therapy.

Jenny Hutchings, Public Relations Manager

Jenny joined the team with an impressive academic record, achieving a "1st" in her BA (Hons) International Business degree from Brighton University, UK. Jenny spent a year studying in Lille, France where she gained a French Diploma and she also has considerable experience dealing with the general public.

Barbara Martin, Senior Editor

Joined the team in July 2006, after setting up and managing her own sucessful retail business. Her career includes secretarial and accountancy work, giving her extensive book-keeping skills and an excellent grasp of English. With her attention to detail, dedication, managerial skills and infinite patience she is a valuable addition to the company.
