MediLexicon International Profit Rises 57% In 2009-2010

MediLexicon International Limited is pleased to announce a trading profit of £474,167, before director's remuneration, for the financial year 1st April 2009 - 31st March 2010. That marks
an increase of 57% over the figures for 2008-2009.
Statistical Breakdown
The Medical News Today website received over 31,500,000 visits for the year 1st April, 2009 - 31st March 2010; a 24% increase on the previous year. The number of page views exceeded 48,000,000,
which is a 25% increase over the figures for 2008/2009. Medical News Today's article database now contains over 180,000 medical
news articles, creating a valuable reference tool for patients and health care professionals.
MediLexicon received over 8,000,000 visits during this period; a 13% increase over the previous year with a 13% increase in page views to 24,800,000.
Hospitals Worldwide has experienced rapid growth this year, receiving over 2,100,000 visits. That represents an 81% rise over the previous year.
Advertising Partnerships
Over the last year, MediLexicon International has formed strong relationships with a number of major advertising agencies and pharmaceutical companies
in the US and Europe. This has helped to boost the revenue generated by the three websites.
