Final Phase of Medical News Today Re-Design Launched
Release date: 15th April 2008
The final phase of major development work on Medical News Today has been completed and the new design is now live. As part of our programme of continual improvement, the new site design has been several months in development following extensive research into industry best practice and end-user surveys.
The changes made improve the navigation and the appearance of the site, whilst still allowing for a completely advertiser-funded operation.
The following comment on the new design is from a US-based Medical Doctor:
"Site Faster, Cleaner, Leaner, More Responsive
Your site provides information that is relevant, usable and practical for everyday use in clinical practice while providing concise updated feeds about the latest news and insights to a great variety of medical and medical/scientific subjects.
Your site is a reliable source of valid information that I use on a daily basis (usually referring to it several times a day) to keep current with the latest, most salient news and medical/scientific findings. I depend on your editors to sift through the daily torrent of information available to emphasize the most important and most interesting breaking news.
The new format is visually clear, crisp and much faster to navigate. Your team has once again revised your format to better serve the needs of your busy readers. Good for you for taking the time, effort and - especially the obvious superb planning, to make this site the best organized, fastest and most user-comfortable site in the field of daily medical/scientific information.
You really do design your site's options to suits your readers' varied needs and continually improve ease-of-use for your readers' most efficient and satisfying information-seeking experience.
You are leading the way. Great Work! We readers appreciate your diligent efforts!"
